Kids go loud! Music center for children project - part 1

Children entertainment might be fun but also challenging if you must bring in an educational value to it. Music is very powerful to control our (adults) emotions. So what about the children?!

The Orff Schulwerk, or simply the Orff Approach, is an approach used in the music education. It combines music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that are similar to a child's world of play.

In order for the Orff Approach to work effectively, the environment should be created accordingly the kid's comfort. It must motive the kids to develop new and abstract music skills, explore new music instruments without any judgment or being evaluated by its peers or teacher.

Viola Home Design rolls out its first public project - Kids music center, devoted to an epic symphonic folk tale "Peter and the Wolf" (by Sergei Prokofiev, 1936.)* .

* In telling the story, Prokofiev assigns each character a musical instrument. The bird is identified with the flute, the cat with the clarinet, the duck with the oboe, Peter's grandfather with the bassoon, the wolf with the horns, and the hunters with percussion instruments. Peter himself was given the entire string section. The wordless fairy tale enriches children imagination and helps them to learn to recognize the individual sounds produced by different instruments of the orchestra.

This is the kids zone part. Follow us to find out about the parents - waiting area!
